NFL Alumni Charity Golf Tour

From humble beginnings in 1979, the NFL Alumni’s Charity Golf Tour has grown into a major fundraising vehicle. Composed of approximately 33 tournaments held annually in cities across the country, the tour generates nearly $2 million per year for local and national charities.
The format for all NFL Alumni tournaments is the same: five-man teams captained by former pros compete in a scramble event with adjusted handicapping to give each team an equal chance of winning. In addition to other prizes, the winning team from each tournament qualifies for the NFL Alumni Super Bowl of Golf (SBOG).
Each NFL Alumni tournament is developed to be a first-rate golfing experience, from the format (which typically includes a pre-tournament dinner or gala event, post-tournament awards banquet and the SBOG) to high-quality tee packages, exceptional celebrities and the finest courses. It’s a simple yet winning formula – great names playing great course for great causes.
